Γειά σου Αριστοτέλη.

Σου έγραψα και στο άλλο thread που άνοιξες, αλλά μάλλον δεν το είδες. :D

(And for those who say ""It's all Greek to me" :D I have only this to say.

You are absolutely right :D)

(Just saying hello in our mother tongue )

Welcome from an American living in Ancient Corinth. Nice to see so many Greeks here at APUG. If we find a few more, perhaps we can follow up on a thread that Ari started a while back and get a Regional Focus group.
Again welcome,
James

Oops, sorry. Serves me right for not checking the whole thread :p

James, Corinth is not too far from Athens, so I suppose us Athenians can come over and visit you (we can hold the regular Athens Chapter there and some extraordinary meetings in Crete so Ari doesn't feel left out :D)

Sounds good to me, Dimitri. On the other hand we could set up APUG Hellas' HQ halfway between Athens, Corinth and Iraklio, perhaps on a beach on Melos. I need a good excuse to get off the mainland...
Any idea how many APUGers there are in Greece?
James

James, good idea. I also need an excuse to get out of the mainland.

As for the number of APUGers I can't say but I'm sure they will surface in this thread.

As I just came back from Athens, don't expect me to be going back there any time soon. I spent the maximum of four days that I can stand the capital and it makes me love the little village of Iraklio!
I am sure we could have a good meeting in Crete or another island (Paros, Santorini, etc) over the summer, can't we?

...κοίτα που τελικά έχουμε απλωθεί παντού!

Hello there. I'm probably the latest greek joining APUG, and i'm rather surprised by the ammounts of information i've already found. Aristoteli, neither i can stand visiting Athens for long periods -- and the funny thing here is that my saying is exactly the same as yours: never more than four days.

I'm keen on visiting Crete though, at least twice a year.
