I work as the Art Director for a magazine.
Im in need of some food photography of lamb being grilled (or hamburgers - seeing as they look identical), Salmon on the grill or being served... etc etc..., things of that nature.

can anyone help me out? Its a very short notice need but I thought Id try and see what I could rile up.

Have you tried on-line services like gettyone.com? I can't remember some of the ones I used to deal with when I was in purchasing for a large insurance company.

I have subscriptions to a few online stock photo places.
I was looking more to help a fellow photographer out and give them some national exposure and something to put on their resume etc.
I dont have alot of money in my budget (if you can call it that) so getting images from gettyimages.com and those other nice agencies is way too pricey

I thought that was your plan, but with the time constraints you mentioned I figured an online option might help you. And you are right about the costs - yikes. The invoices would cross my desk back then and I would wish someone would pay me that much for one of my images!! :D
