I have been hanging around here for a month now and I feel I have found the perfect forum as I do not shoot digital (yet). I am 36 years old and I mess with 35mm film, mostly black and white, sometimes colour, I have no preference really. I tend to shoot street, architecture, landscape, people and family, but I want to continually improve my technique. My equipment list is as follows Leica M3, Cotax IIIa, Canon Canonet QL17 GIII, Canon AE1, Nikon F, Nikkormat Ftn. I am equally happy shooting SLR as Rangefinder, both have a really different feel and I like the results.
Outside of photography I work in sales and I going to school part time for Public Relations at Ryerson University. I read, go to movies and like making new Friends. Toronto has a lot of shooting oppurtunities that cannot be ignored.

Hey, Bill
Welcome to a place where people are civil, interested and knowledgeable. Not many of these places left, are there? Look forward to seeing your stuff.

I love this space as despite my relative young age am not a fan of digital technology and I am fed up with the endless hype around it. As for my portofolio I am without scanner and I have to get one at some point. I am too busy shooting.

Hi Bill, welcome from Sydney Australia.
You have found your way to paradise.
Paradise (noun) Garden of Eden; heaven; region or state of supreme bliss.
OK, maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but it's one hell of a site with the best online community I've ever been involved with.
Enjoy your time here.

Hi Bill,
There are plenty of us from (formerly) the Toronto area. In fact we just had a get together and gallery tour during the Contact Festival last month. Next year, I'll be organizing another tour during the Festival and the APUG Conference, so we'll hope to see you there in person.
