View Full Version : G'day PeterB 06-05-2005, 07:38 AM G'day folks.
My name is Peter. I live in Sydney. I love dogs, especially labrador retrievers.
I'm posting this to introduce you to my two faithful companions. Nessa (LHS)and Simba (RHS). They can be seen jointly retrieving a tennis ball in a stocking.
Maybe I'll post more when I have some additional inspiration.
regards

Dr Bob,
I hope your typo wasn't a Freudian slip!

Peter Badcock PeterB 06-05-2005, 08:27 PM Before I forget, dr. Bob's reply reminds me of joke...
Q. Did you hear the one about the dyslexic, atheistic, insomniac?
A. He lay awake all night wondering if there really is a dog !
Thanks everybody (Suzanne, Nicole, Graeme, Mike, dr bob, Roy, George, David and Nige) for their warm welcomes.

Peter Badcock David 06-05-2005, 08:27 PM You heard about the dyslexic, agnostic, insomniac who stayed up all night doubting that there was a dog. David 06-05-2005, 08:28 PM Brilliant minds think alike, those two posts just went up simultaneously. dr bob 06-06-2005, 08:44 AM Dr Bob,

That was no typo! If you live with my gods long enough, you would appreciate their "descriptions" :) Graeme Hird 06-06-2005, 09:19 AM They make chocolate in labs? What qualifications do I need to get a job in one of those labs? :) Carol 06-06-2005, 10:26 AM Hello and welcome Peter. Nice to see another Aussie. Kevin Caulfield 06-06-2005, 08:13 PM Welcome Peter from another Melburnian APUG addict. Our gods are schnoodles. Glenn Mathison 07-03-2005, 07:35 AM Hi Peter, welcome from yet another Australian APUG junkie... Good to see the Sydney numbers are slowly creeping up, I don't feel so overwhelmed by those Melbourne folks now :)
No dogs, just two boys under 6 to keep me hopping...
Glenn BWGirl 07-03-2005, 08:14 AM Welcome to APUG, Peter! I have a black lab/dalmatian mix (a true b&w girl). She is my "late-life" baby...except she's 15! haha ;) Your babies are adorable!
So... do you also have cameras?? haha :D PeterB 07-03-2005, 08:27 AM Hi Peter, welcome from yet another Australian APUG junkie... Good to see the Sydney numbers are slowly creeping up, I don't feel so overwhelmed by those Melbourne folks now :)
G'day Glenn,
I had noticed there seemed to be a tad more Melbournians. I s'pose with three Vanbar stores open in Melbourne, they must service plenty of customers.

15 in dog years or human years? She's either rather young or very mature !
Do I have cameras.... maybe I'm missing something here, 'cause you laughed and I didn't get it. (were you expecting my Avatar to be a couple of cameras?!). I own a Nikon 801s (N8008s in the US).
regards
Peter BWGirl 07-03-2005, 08:38 AM She's 15 in dog year... really showing her age, I'm afraid. :(
No... I laughed cause it's a photography forum & your intro was about your dogs! ;) Most people tend to say.. "I own 13,000 cameras, and do mysterious printing techniques... blah blah blah" (sort of 'blinding me with science') I liked your intro better...MUCH better! ;)
So, good to have you aboard, Peter! :D |
