I just wanted to share this with everyone. I bought a print of the month from Scott Killian and it is just incredible.. For the $50 price I got a great example of the Azo and Amidol with the eye of a fine photographer. For anyone looking to start collecting or wanting to have a fine print to see what one really looks like I can highly reccommend his print of the month deal. It doesn't get much finer i.e. the cost of entry here is ridiculously low but you will not be disappointed!! Check out his web site www.scottkillian.com

When I first saw this post, I thought "Uh oh, what did I do now!?!" Imagine my surprise when I saw Peter's post. Thank you for the kind words and to all who have so graciously supported my work here on APUG.

Peters,
I agree 100%, for much less the price than many prints I found last months POM to be an excellent value...but that was not the best part. The print is very well done..Scott, you deserve the "kind words"..I hope that more will take advantage of the POM and find a very nice print on their walls soon.

photomc-just to add it up a notch; Scott mounts and overmats on Alpharag plus the print was send wrapped in a plastic protector. This costs him plenty but it is this level of professionalism that gets me excited. Of course you can wrap up garbage in a fancy package and call it art(not the case here). My print is equal to any/all that I have personally seen from M+P Smith; albeit I would buy one of theirs if I could afford it. Hurry up and buy one from Scott before the prices go up!!!

Scott took Paula's and my Vision and Technique workshop a year or two ago and recently he sent us about a dozen prints to look out. Most all were visually exciting and were printed as well as a print can be printed. At $50 (only $50?) they are a bargain indeed. They would be a good buy at $500. Scott is committed and is obviously going places with his photography.

I have yet to purchase one of Scotts prints, but I do know that his work is very good quality and craftmanship. I wish him the best of luck with his print sales on Ebay. I too, sell my AZO prints on Ebay for about the same price as Scott's. I know in order to keep sellings prints, people must first purchase one to see the true quality...then they usually come back for more. I have had great success selling my AZO prints on Ebay, and I have some buyers who have purchased more then 10 prints from me!

I cannot recall everyone who has purchased my work, but I thank everyone who has. It's great to see other photographers who are willing to help support another photographer.

Everyone,

Just thought I would let everyone know that I'm preparing to post new work on my Website and send out a new newsletter which details what I've been up to in recent months. Lots of updates since my last newsletter - an institution has purchased my work for its permanent collection, the first of my Great River Road exhibits will be starting in November and I've made lots of new work from St. Louis to New Orleans to support the project. If you're interested in signing up for the newsletter, ether send me PM or drop by my Website at www.scottkillian.com

Best regards,
