Geary Aggie 06-24-2005, 11:16 PM I'll be there with the Jim Chinn camera! BradS 06-24-2005, 11:33 PM hmmm, more than four days away...difficult to see it is.
I will pencil it in on the calendar and talk to my social coordinator. grahamp 06-25-2005, 11:10 AM Geary, Assume that Carla and I will be present. It looks like a clear date at the moment, and I think we can keep it that way. tomtom 06-25-2005, 11:40 AM i'll be there :-) and i'll try and bring mark along too.
tomtom roteague 06-25-2005, 12:24 PM I sure wish I could join you all again. I had such a great time at the last gathering. Unfortunately, I have no California trips planned. bjorke 06-26-2005, 04:27 AM my daughter's 15th birthday... but who knows?

Hmmm, someday you might actually use it. :D Aggie 06-30-2005, 11:06 AM I have the film waiting for it, a new berlebach tripod, eventually a new designed black jacket style darkcloth, a 355 g claron lens I bought from Jim Galli, and other small bits and pieces for it. Mateo is going to help me figure it out since my blonde roots get in the way most times. I'm sure the folks at APIS will be more than willing to inspect it and show me it's usage as well.
So those that attend Geary's farewell party for Will, can shoot a sheet of film if they want to, and process it in Geary's designer darkroom if he gives you access. I will even have some 11x14 sleeves for the film for those interested. blansky 06-30-2005, 01:50 PM my daughter's 15th birthday... but who knows?

Looks too posed. You need to get more candid stuff. Pretty girl though.
Michael bjorke 07-02-2005, 02:52 AM I agree, but hey, it's what she wanted. She set helped me set up the lighting panels & quartz lamps in the living room... wfwhitaker 07-02-2005, 12:06 PM No comment.

Geary

Well, I may just have a nice drive over the mountain and back the next day if I don't get some directions. Could be worse. I've got 4X5, 8X10, 7X11, and 7X17 packed for the adventure. What time are folks showing up? Jim Aggie 07-15-2005, 11:25 PM Jim, both email and PM, I gave you my cell phone number. It usually gets going mid afternoon. Boy this is making it hard to stay away.
However, I just spent a week dragging my kids around in the back of the car everyday. Time to give them a break at home.
Have fun, all!
Matt BradS 07-17-2005, 12:34 PM I want to thank Geary and his family for their gracious hospitality and for opening their home to us and hosting this event. Good food, interesting conversation, beautiful prints and a fascinating array of large format and dark room gear. It was a great pleasure for me to meet face to face with all who attended. It felt somehing like gatting re-acquainted with old friends. Thank you all and good luck to you on the other coast Will. Aggie 07-17-2005, 12:39 PM Brad it was great to have you in our midst, along with Jim Galli. The display of Jim's cameras was something not to miss. Geary and his wife are wonderful. Best of luck to you Will on the east coast. |
