I've just read a very interesting article on PhotoTechniques magazine about making selective mask for the traditional darkroom using photoshop by Rich Milhorn. Seems a very powerful printing tecnique, so I've made a web search on this argument but I didn't find anything interesting. Anyone uses this tecnique or knows where I can find more informations?

Consider moving your question to the the grey area. Really, there is no reason to use PS for this. You can do the same with conventional film if you pop for some film the size of your print.

You can use acetate sheet and a pencil as well, really cheap solution compared to using film or a printer with the portirco to do this.

Yeah sure, Aggie. Next you will tell us that a person can dodge the moon in a dusktime picture by spinning a button on a string over the paper. Any more myths? Like waving hands magically under the lens? Softening an image with a nylon stocking? BWAA HAHHH HAAA. Where's the computer there?
