Hi,
A friend brought me back from Russia a very nice Fed-2. I just wonder how to rewind the film. How do I release at the end of the film ?

Best regards,

Guillaume

I used to have a Fed 4 some years ago. IIRC: near the wind on lever there's a ring around the shutter firing button. Press the edge of the ring and turn towards B.
Good luck

As simple as that...!

Thank you,

Guillaume

You may have to reset to C when loading a new film. This link mau be of some help:http://www.upcnet.es/~org/htm/main_fed2.htm

Early FED-2's (FED-2a) have a separate lever like the FED-1 rather than a collar around the shutter release.

Probably best off not setting to C as it is unreliable, I always set to about 2 frames before zero so that after winding on 3 frames I get '1' on the frame counter.

Another few FED-2 information sites:

Neat little camera. Got mine for $40 on eBay a few months back. Shutter needs cleaning....
