I've been visiting the APUG site for several months now, and thought that I should actually become part of the community! I've been working at photography(sans many paychecks) for close to 20 years trying to "find my voice." If any of you were at Photo Arts in Santa Fe this last summer, I had a booth there with some silver gelatins prints and some ptpd prints. I had the good fortune of meeting Gustavo Castillo and Aggie there. Aggie sat in front of my booth and gave some great unsolicited plugs along the lines of "he is doing what the master Edward Weston did," and "beautiful work," to passersby. Thanks Aggie! Gustavo was extremely nice as well and we have talked a few times since. I think this is getting a bit wordy so I will end it with "it's a pleasure to be a part of this wonderful community!" _Todd Stewart, er toddstew.

Howdy and welcome. How lucky you were to have Aggie there as a promoter.

Welcome Todd...but all of you people from NM are really making me envious. I attended college in Las Cruces...I still miss NM almost every day.

Be well.

Funny I saw more photo equipment in NJ. I don't think I have seen a single LF camera yet. I have been here about 2 years. I think new mexico is probably the most uder-photographed state.

talk to me about where in the state you are. We could get together and talk about cool places to photograph or just get together and talk lf. I've just started working with an 8x10, and it's amazing to see things through such a large gg compared to 4x5. There are other new mexico photographers who are part of apug who make regular appearances.
