Just found this site after a recommendation from Les McLean. Looks very interesting. I am Uk based in Gods country, Yorkshire & am partly responsible for the Yorkshire Monochrome Group (see yorkshiremonochrome.org) I am monochrome only, darkroom only & quite happy at that. nickname "ymgandy"

As usual Rothery you overstate the fact again, we all know that Northumberland is Gods country :) but we'll forgive you for it's the festive season.

Welcome to APUG and it is as good as I told you it was the other day.

Welcome Andrew, hope you enjoy...look forward to your input (and maybe a little discussion on the merits of Yorkshire vs Northumberland between you and Les :) )

Welcome Andrew; I regret to say however that you are wrong. God never goes any further north than Northamptonshire.

Hi Andrew, and welcome

What a beautiful part of the world you come from.

I'm with you on Yorkshire being Gods country.Probably a bit biased though as I have Yorkshire Blood in my vains!

Hi Andrew and welcome to APUG. As a red rose holder it pains me to admit that Yorkshire does indeed have some of the best and most diverse scenery in England but as for God's country, we'll have to differ there. As a tyke once said "Tha can allus tell a Yorkshireman but tha cannot tell him much".

Welcome to APUG Andrew

Well I'm the devil with the deep blue sea on the South Coast and quite happy with my lot!

As has been said a good bunch of friendly natives reside here. Looking forward to seeing some of your pictures in the near future.

God vacations in England and NSW, but God lives in the BWCA in Northern Minnesota. I know I have actually been to his favorite room. Welcome from the backyard. Luke

Welcome to APUG, Andrew. I'm sure you'll soon be wasting as many pleasant hours here as the rest of us! :)

My father came from Yorkshire originally, but moved to Lancashire because of his work (and no, he wasn't a missionary!) and that's where I made my entrance into the world. Pay no attention to that heathen McLean; I mean, honestly... has anyone ever seen an image of God wearing a T-shirt?! :D

Leon - Apples maybe, but we'll introduce you to proper beer at the Gathering...! ;)
