Just thought some here might like a group I've been riding herd on:

By "riding herd" I mean that I administer the group -- and unlike most flickr groups, I edit-away photos (most of them) that I think are cliched or mannered or just not that compelling. This means that a lot of pleasing pictures get culled too, but that's what makes New B&W different.

I don't know if I'd buy the word "exclusive," because I've deliberately left it open to anyone (as opposed to an invite-only group, like "White and Black"). But the pictures have to deliver.

(This thread is way out of order -- something funny happening with the dates?)

How did Jay's reply get before the original post?

Timestamp problems with the server. Sean has been posting updates about the problem, but they may be hard to find, due to the problem itself. I suspect everything should sort itself out in the next day or so.

I guess that means you don't allow color. :p

I think it's rather more exclusive - or trying to be anyway!
