Hi- I want to introduce myself. I live near Youngstown, Ohio and I have been interested in black and white photography all my life. Like many others I had a darkroom as a teenager but gave it up for a long while, and now in later life I have a new darkroom and am starting over. I am looking forward to learning a lot from the forums.
I have a Mamiya TLR and a Mamiya Press, both of which I use a lot. I also have some Minolta and Exakta 35mm equipment.
With the increasing digitization of the world, it seems to me that APUG is now a very important source of information about, and support for, traditional photography.

Likewise from England. We're occasionally quirky, often amusing but seldom snappy, curmudgeonly or worst of all DULL.

Welcome from Illinois. Be sure to ask any questions you might have. APUG is a great resource filled with many very knowledgable people who are happy to share what they know. Ask away!

Wayne,

Welcome form your west side, Akron-Cleveland. There are two great B&W exhibits at the Carnegie Museum of Art http://www.cmoa.org/, if you haven’t seen them, Luke Swank and Witness to the Fifties. If we had known you were there we could have stopped for coffee on the way over.

Come visit and/or shoot over here. We are on the edge of the Cuyahoga National Park. Bring Shawn and we can start a group shoot/gathering.
