I have this habbit of cutting out good pictures from magazines and noticed that many are from domenique isserman when looking thruw them again. So I thought about searching for a book from her. The library doesn't have them but maybe someone has a tip. (or a www adres with pictures from here, didn't even that, her site is under construction for a while already....)
cheers!

The book you seek (and you will have to seek) is Anne Rohart par Dominique Issermann. Published in 1987 by Schirmer Mosel. Finely printed book of beautiful photographs of a beautiful (nude) woman. It was a very small printing run, so there are not that many copies available. Very little text, all in French.

I am looking at my copy of Anne Rohart by Dominique Issermann. I am always taken back at how Miss Isserman uses the square format so effectively as well as the lighting. Its just a great book that everyone should have if one can get. Other nude books worthy for collection: The Eternal Body by Ruth Bernhard, Glances by Terence Donovan, and Fatales Femmes by Didier Gaillard.

There's a rather cheap way into Issermann's photos which has a collection of some advertising shots, some portraits, a landscape/cityscape or two... all in black and white and mostly exhibiting the great use of very selective focus.
It is one issue of a series done for Reporters sans Frontières, costs €8/12CHF/C$12.75:
Dominique Issermann pour la Liberté de la Presse
Looking through it again, certainly makes me want to discover the Anne Rohart book you guys mention.

1987... A genius for at least 20 years and so little publications? Maybe Blansky knows why the succesfull photographers are usually artists and those great genius' often hardly known.
For now, on my why to borrow an ex girlfriends creditcard and buy it! haha Does that make me a genius: not being able to live from my pictures:)
cheers!
