After Lurking on APUG for a month or more I think it's time to introduce myself and say hello. I am new to LF and have been experimenting in poor 4x5 negatives. the information that I have gathered from APUG have been great and I look forward to being a member for a long time.

A word from another ignorant beginner: This is the place where you can ask and receive. Great help and friendly advice. Welcome in.

Welcome. Lots of REALLY knowledgeable people here. The more I learn, the more I realize I don't know.
Welcome!
Like everyone before me said, the place is amazing with knowledge and help.
Just getting into 4x5 (or 5x4 as it is known across the pond) myself. Its a good crew to help out...

Welcome Tommy, Looking back I think the most interesting time was at the beginning when everything was a mystery. It was a magical time when I hoped things would turn out, often one problem was solved and two were created. Eventually you learn from the mistakes and advance with confidence and pride. With film and chemicals you feel like a chemist or scientist on a mission to create something that wasn't there before. These days you can research and ask questions right here and gain knowledge that what would cost a small fortune in a private school while have a great time doing it.
Regards,
Curt
