Hi,..a little about myself,
Uncle Sam drafted me...the Army taught me everything about computers (which at that time was strictly a military tool and
somewhat larger than a breadbox)...served in Okalhoma, Utah and Germany...became a civilian again...thought of being a
starving writer or entering the computer business...choose the later...had a lot of fun made a lot of money...got married...
had 3 kids(currently 24, 27 and 30 years of age)...burned-out in12 years...took a couple of years off and built a log house...
had to go back work...burned-out in 9 months...couldn't take the corporate structure anymore...became an independent
consultant...had a lot of fun made a lot of money...traveled to New Hampshire,Rhode Island, Washington DC, Arkansaw,
Tennissee, Arizona, Chicago, etc...Diagosed with a brain tumor...had a lobotomy...told to quit working...retired...got bored...
needed a hobby...took a class in black and white photography at the Worcester Museum...started with a Conon AE1… went to medium format with a Pentax 645… a 35mm SRL on steroids.

Welcome Jack... you are amongst like minded people here. The Wister Ahrt Museum ;) is a real gem of a place. Are you still in the central Mass area?

Welcome Jack,

Man, parts of your narrative sound strangely familiar! ;)

Here be the port from the storm and the people are nice too...
