I would not recommend that scanner. Search the net and you will find lots of not-so-good comments. If you only need to scan 35 mm format film and are on a budget, try to find a Konica Minolta DiMAGE Scan Dual IV. They are getting hard to find new, but at $220-ish they are a really good bargain in a dedicated film scanner and offer a lot for the money. There are even some refurbished ones available at some dealers.

If you post more information about the films you use and your intended output (prints? sizes? for the web?), I think you will get better information from the people who respond.

I have one of these scanners mine is called a Film Scan 35 and yes it did get slated in many reviews :-)

I use mine to scan B&W negs at 2400 dpi and then use the resultant images to make digital negatives for the Cyanotype process. I contact print these onto either Canson 'Montval' or Somerset Velvet soft white watercolour papers both these are 'not' surfaces, so quality is hardly an issue. The scanner is perfectly adequate for this purpose and has never let me down.

I did lend it to a friend who wanted to copy some colour negs and print them onto inkjet paper, he found it very difficult to get anywhere near the colours of the original prints.

I suppose you get what you pay for and mine was an end of thingy much reduced one time only extra special offer that you can't refuse at £60 :-)
