View Full Version : California Landscape Photographers?

[I posted this over on the large format board--thought it might make sense--maybe more sense!--to post it here]

For fun I thought I'd make a list of photographers that:

1) Shoot California landscapes

2) Have at least "several" images of the California coast, especially the area south of South Francisco as far south as Santa Cruz. Especially interested in images of the coast area, not just the surf.

3) The final print is hand-made--digital can be in any other part, or every other part of the image-making process, but the final print is made without computer technology.

Any suggestions? Help me make my list! Web pages would be great...

Thanks,

Well, our very own Ralph Barker comes to mind...but, he lives in Rio Rancho now.

Darin since you are using apug for your online magazine, are you going to become a subscriber of apug?

I know quite a few Cal photographers, from ocean to interior. Mateo from apug here would be a good one to start with.

Online magazine? I missed something it seems....

I'll check out Mateo--thanks!

I've subscribed to APUG in the past but I barely come here at all anymore--maybe that will change in the future...

Look up Victor Krag. His work is amazing and is located in Carmel.

He is also part of APUG.

Sorry for this. I was confused. Ralph does glamour and...uhm, stuff like that.

Brian McGuiness (BMAC) does landscapes and he's still (as far as I know) still in the state.
