Hi all. Have a brief stopover in Singapore this weekend. Of course there are hundreds of photographic shops, but can anyone recommend somewhere that sells old stuff second-hand? Especially Hasselblad.

I'm also interested in somewhere that sells Contax G lenses.

When I lived in Singapore the best place I found for buying second-hand gear was Keh, by mail order. I didn't find Singapore to be great for s/h. Having said that, the best places were in the same shopping centres as the best new shops: Penisula Plaza (Cathay Photo etc) and the Adelphi Building across the street. There are a few shops in the Adelphi Building, so wander round all the floors.

Second the note on Cathay Photo. They had a substantial stock of Contax and Hassy gear when I was there a couple years ago, but the prices were nothing to get excited over. About what you'd pay for stuff here, give or take a couple dollars.

Thanks to you both. Ended up buying a nice Contax G28 lens from "The Camera Workshop" which is across the road from Peninsula Plaza. Mr Teh was very helpful. Looked at some Hasselblad stuff but prices were not very competitive.
