An FYI for those of you traveling to or through Connecticut!
Maybe we can see this one together?????
Edward Weston: A Photographer's Love of Life opens Saturday, September 16, at the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art in Hartford, CT, and continues through December 3. A gallery talk with curator Alexander Nyerges will be November 2 at 6 PM. For more information - www.wadsworthatheneum.org or call 860-278-2670.
I happened to catch this show a few years ago in Ohio, Dayton I think, and it is just fantastic!

Thanks Krystyna !

The Wadsworth web site says December 31
Do you (or anyone else) know if "Pepper No. 30" is in this show ? A friend has been trying to find an original print to view. Thanks !
An NEAPUG get-together sounds like a great idea.

Hi Phong!
I loved the exhibition so much that I bought the catalog, and there is a pepper, but not no. 30, the specifics: Pepper, 1929, 8 1/2 X 7 1/4. My favorite is Shell, 1927, 9 1/4 X 7 1/4 - the famous nautilus, it took my breath away!
And I'd trust the website date, December 31, the info I posted came from the newspaper, thanks for the correction!
Lastly, a NEAPUG get-together would be great, how about all of us meeting in Springfield or Hartford to see the show and then lunch/dinner afterwards?
Cheers, Krystyna

Maybe we should throw a few October or early November dates out there to go?

I'm game for a trip to Hartford. I don't really have stuff scheduled that far out, so throw out some dates and this'll get first dibs on my calendar.
