I have had this lens for a good few months but not shot that much on it.....only just got a loupe to view my negs (I'm overseas) and holy %$*@! This lens is sharp. I shot close to wide (F2.8-f4) most of the time and the results really are astonishing. OK, with TriX a lot of detail is lost but with the slower films this lens is ripping sharp. Just in case any of you are thinking of getting one, the OOF areas are ooooohhh so creamy smooth but the in focus areas are something else. If you have been considering one, go for it as it is everything it is cracked up to be. The focus is super quick and the build wonderful. Expensive but a great buy if you want to shoot portraits. It also seems built to last.

Yes, but not the FD 135mm f/2

Though the FD 135/2.0 was a very highly regarded lens, and it still fetches a good price. Some thought it should have gotten an "L" label.
