Jerry FirePhoto 11-17-2006, 11:46 AM On a sad note it was just announced that former Michigan head coach Bo Schembechler died this morning. Jerry What an ironic thing! Well, I read in the paper the other day that Bo had no intention of going to the game. I guess he meant it. Now he can watch the game with Woody. Another legend passes into the mist... RobLewis 11-17-2006, 02:02 PM In my younger college days at Purdue, some clever future engineers made a t-shirt that said "Ann Arbor is a whore". Always thought that was funny. I don't care who wins. Gonna be a classic. Christopher Walrath 11-17-2006, 05:15 PM I heard about Bo at work today and felt like a member of the OSU-Mich family had left us. He will be missed, even by me. He was an OSU grad and a Woody assistant you know. RIP, Bo. jd callow 11-17-2006, 05:36 PM In true Bo form, UM should beat OSU and then lose horribly in the BCS game. As I read the news and forums the response from Ohio supporters (otherthan a few) has been absolute class. The truth of the matter is Ohio and Michigan are more similar than not. Sure MI has the lakes, streams and countless natural wonders, better schools, smarter and more attractive children, better sports teams (excepting the lions of course), Areatha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Bill Schwab, but other than that Mich, Ohio: twins. RIP Bo. This should be a great game. Dinesh 11-17-2006, 05:44 PM ....... more attractive children This coming from a man who's avatar looks like Jim from Taxi! Go Buckeyes! jd callow 11-17-2006, 05:57 PM This coming from a man who's avatar looks like Jim from Taxi! Go stinkeyes! Hey, I was a beautiful baby. colrehogan 11-17-2006, 09:02 PM I have never understood the fascination with college football (or basketball) for that matter. jstraw 11-18-2006, 08:59 AM On a sad note it was just announced that former Michigan head coach Bo Schembechler died this morning. Jerry That seals the deal. Michigan 27 Ohio State 24 Christopher Walrath 11-21-2006, 05:32 PM Well, we all know who's number 1 now. but we will miss Bo. jd callow 11-21-2006, 06:37 PM No argument there Christopher Walrath 11-12-2007, 09:15 PM Notice how some threads never seem to go away. mikebarger 11-12-2007, 09:33 PM Sorry, how may Big 10 schools in the BCS top 5 ;) Mike |
