In this country, is there any workshop for study how to use Cirkut #10? Or, is there anyone in D.C / MD/ VA areas can teach me how to use Cirkut #10? I have the camer outfit and instructions book, but the instructions book is not good at all to learn how to use it. It is not like Photoshop software instruction book that tells me anything I need to know. I spent lots of money for the outfit and I didn't show my wife a photo taken by the camera. She does not like that. I use Linhof Tech camera and love it. But, this outfit is a killer. Please help.

Never heard of any workshops. Most people find another user to help them.
Maybe you can arrange a private workshop with the people that do the cirkut photos in front of the capital. The IAPP might also be able to help find someone who can help you.

Cirkut photography is one of the most challenging types of photography I've done, but is very rewarding when things work out. It's now made harder by the need to spool one's own film. I plan on bringing a few cirkuts to a APUG regional meeting in June - see the "Annual" Northern Michigan Gathering 2007
post in the regional section. I'm planning on doing a group shot there, always a fun thing. I'd be happy to help out anyone who might want to know more about cirkuts while I'm there. I'm definitely planning on going barring the lately all too frequent family emergency.

Here is a link to the Library of Congress site that has several downloadable videos of the folks that shoot in front of the Capital. There are also hundreds of vintage cirkut photos to look at on that site.
