Thought I would post this info here as well:

The New England Large Format Photography Collective (NELFPC) will exhibit their large format photography at the Valley Photo Center in Springfield, MA from Feb 13 through March 23. Gallery hours are Tues - Sat from 11:00 - 2:00 or by special arrangement (by calling 413-781-1553, Mon - Fri 1:00 - 5:00).

A reception for the artists will be held on Feb 18th from 1:00 - 4:00 at the VPC. Included in the group are Steve Sherman, Ken Hanson, Jack Holowitz, Peter Bosco, Rich Wowak, Peter Wnek, Marie & Glen Curtis, Tim Jones (climbabout), Joe Azoti, Bob Giannotti... and some guy named gene LaFord.

It would be great to see a whole bunch of NE-APUG'ers and others from not too far afield at the reception.

For those needing directions, please contact me at the above phone # during the afternoon hours.

Thanks!

I had the pleasure of droping off some work at the VPC today for their next show.

The gallery space is large and spacious and I'm sure will prove to be a valuable asset to creative photography here the in the Northeast.

As Gene mentioned above the upcoming show will feature work by The New England Large Format Photography Collective. As we have at past shows, members will have on display their personal LF camera of choice. These "beasts" usually draw much attention and make for great conversation.

Additionally, at 3 PM the Collective will feature a guess speaker well versed in the history of LF photography. An interactive discussion regarding the work on display is planned.

I just want to "Bump" this thread up to keep it in people's minds. It would be really great if we had a good NE-APUG turn out for the reception. You get to see the new digs and meet some friendly photogers, have some nice snacks.
If there is no hockey game that day... maybe Red Rose for some good pizza?!
If anyone needs directions, please PM me.
It would be great to see you all again.

I wish I could go Gene, but the next 3 weekends are booked for me.

Regards, Art (BTW can I pick up my pics in March?)

If I'm here, I'll try to go. And I know someone I might be able to drag if I can make it.

The show is up on the walls and looks real good, many really nice prints from some very good photographers. Hope to see many of you on the 18th.
