1. OK World Pinhole Photography Day is on Sunday, April 29, 2007. Sean and/or one of the moderators will correct my error.

There's still one more reference to "April 30" in the start post. Just to avoid confusion, I hope one of the moderators "listens in" on this post ;) and fixes that error.

With regard to this print exchange... I *might* join, sounds interesting... I've only just seen this thread, let me think about it for a couple of days... :)

That's the sign-up deadline which should not be confused with the actual World Pinhole Day, April 29th.

Okay... I was referring to this one:

Only Two Basic Rules:
You MUST use a real pinhole camera for this exchange (digital manipulations/plug-ins are not acceptable whatsoever)
You MUST take the image on World Pinhole Photography Day - April 30, 2007

That should really be April 29th :D

Thanks kraker, I missed that one. Fixed now. :)

I would sign up, except that I don't know if I'll be at home that day. And pinhole (=long exposures) and oil rigs go together about as well as oil and water. But IF I get a chance, there's time to sign up yet. :)

You're welcome. And you're fast :)

Well, indeed, good idea to have the closing date for signing up after the actual date of taking the pictures. ;)

Sounds cool. Count me in.
Will be using an old 8x10 Tasope Deluxe from the Aurora School of Photography (photogravure camera) converted to pinhole. Has 28 inch draw, and variable pinholes for anywhere from 12 inch f181 to 28 inch f645. I use my subaru wagon to haul it around in, and shoot out the back door.

OK I'll sign up. Most likely a 5x7 Shen Hao with a pinhole lens mounted onto a handmade cardboard linhof lensboard. Or perhaps the wideangle shoebox with 8x10 paper negs. Hmmm decisions, decisions.

Sign me up.

Probably will be an 8x10 using X-ray film...but it could be anything up to 14x17.

I am soooo in... My camera options are homemade 4x5, make a cheesy pihole lensboard when my 4x5 arrives, pop can camera... or anything I can make before Sunday, using a paper negative. Provided things go according to plan, the ones made with 4x5 negs should be enlarged to at least 8x10.

Would this be an appropriate place to crack a joke about shooting pin-ups?:D

How many pinhole photographs are we expected to send to each person on our list?

[which we will receive later - lets not fire up everyone - where is my list????]

How many pinhole photographs are we expected to send to each person on our list?I'll group people into groups of 4-6 people. So no more than 5 prints at the most. Hope that's OK with everyone.

Sign me up too please.

If it matters, I'm a lurker turned recent subscriber though the website still says I'm not a subscriber... dunno whats up with that. I filed a help ticket and maybe it'll get taken care of this weekend :)

I'll be shooting a Zero Image 6x6 as well as some paper negative cans. We're hoping to have a dozen people show up on Sunday to shoot together :-)
