The last time I checked (early 2006?) with Radio Shack (in the USA) the foot switch they had in their catalogue was discontinued, and there was no replacement identified. The Canadian version of Radio Shack (now renamed as "The Source", and owned by Circuit City) did not have a compatible foot switch in their catalogue at the time. Matt This seems to be the case as I looked at Radio Shack website and my "Remote Foot Switch" 44-610 is no where to be found at the website. reellis67 02-09-2007, 09:39 AM Yep, all I got was a blank stare from the kid behind the counter. I think the've been gone for a while because it was some time ago when I checked for one. - Randy Lee L 02-09-2007, 09:57 AM My information is that they discontinued and closed out the RS 44-610 switch about 2 years ago (IIRC). I picked up a couple for different uses for US$2 each at that time, and they work with the RH Designs Stop Clock Pro and (with a 3/32 to 1/8 adapter) the Gralab 450 and similar timers. You might find the occasional stray, but RS does periodically gather discontinued items from stores and send them to regional closeout centers, so at this point they may be very hard to find in stores. I used to visit a RS closeout store in an industrial park in Woodland, CA for this kind of stuff. Lee |
