Duane Reade in NYC has shelves of "Duane Reade" brand film cameras for $15 - includes one roll of ISO 800 film. Here's the thing, bring it in to their 1 hour lab for processing and you get a replacement 24 exposure roll free - forever. Not a bad deal. Prints are $0.29 for each 4x6 upto 49 prints, cheaper with more.

I haven't used D-R's film so I'd be curious to learn who makes it for them.

But I have been using their processing lately for basic C-41. They are very competitively priced and some of their stores (i.e. those that do processing - not all do) are 24/7 (although I think they only process during main business hours).

They are essentially NYC's equivalent of everyone else's Walgreens! ;)
