Maybe we should kill ourselves for creating limited editions instead of letting others be able to buy a print at a reasonable price. What reasonable???? your must be %$%%%@#^^%$^#^@%%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you realize I spend a lot of time, money, effect to get this #@$%@^%@% photograph and you want me to set a reason price of $100-200 for an 8x10 print. Now lets not forget maybe the actual image size is a 5x7. I like collectors who are willing to buy my photographs. But I am not willing to gouge then to death like galleries. I would rather have 100 prints of the same than 25 out there. Such as life. But hey, I am have been having problems with my mind since my total left knee replacement took place Feb 15, 2007. Nonetheless, I just won't gouge.

Kill the camera collectors? That'd decimate 3/4 of the users here!

Sounds good to me. But then we lose a lot of expertise. So we will have to reconsider that thought. Back to the drawing board. :D

Haste makes waste. Waste both collectors and killers!

No collectors here--just accumulators.

As I sharpen my knife collection, making preparations to complete rjas's request . . . I reflect on my own mortality.

A request like that in a thread with such an interesting title will never be granted.

And besides - I'm not a collector, but an accumulater of various old stuff. ;)

In large parts of Norway, "han Tykje" is a widespread swearword. The large majority believes it to be another name for the devil. The interesting this is that it's not - it's a local pronunciation of the name of the famous Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe! It turns out that as a reward for his work the King gave him the rights to the tax collection in northern Norway (at that time a part of Denmark). He must have been good at that job too, to live on as a swearword after more than 400 years... :D

Me too, but as I gaze into the mirror I see no reflection. Perhaps the mirror is defective. Perhaps I am already immortal.

Time for another "transfusion"... must log off. Bye.

don't kill collectors; that would only drive up their value.

I'm not going to horde collectors. No way.

As I sort through my firearms collection, I wonder why you would bring a knife to a gun fight.

The first rule of fight club is: you don't talk about fight club.

Ok, it looks like I am going to have to shop for ceramic body armour size large (north america) 52 (Europe). At least I use my gear, not leave it on the self under glass or wrapped in plastic.

I don't have a knife or a gun... all I have is a large penis... I feel so inadequate!

How is it for self defense?

I have heard of people that collect "shrunken heads". I think Andy might have the market cornered there.

http://www.apug.org/forums/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif Sorry about that. I can't believe I actually allowed myself to press the submit button. I think I'll cancel my internet service, now.

Pretty good, much better than guns and knives are as substitutes for a penis and spheres. :p
