Howdy you all...:) I'm happy there is still room for analog photography... My tools are ranged from 35mm to medium format. My favored films are too many to list... but among them my beloved KodaChrome 200, unfortunately it's days are numbered:( . However, I got my hands on a couple rolls of Orwo 125/35mm film on other day:) . If you know history of films then I'm sure you know this film:D Anyhow, have a good day for all of you...

The new ORWO (post 1990) had a lot of problems, they had to produce at DM wages and prices and still compete with the companies in the West. It seems that this was the reason to buy at them, rebrand the filmstock and sell it to their old customers. This has been done with companies as Agfa, Ilford, 3M:

XT125 / nn
XT100 / nn
XT320 / nn
FP4 / Orwo 125
HP5 / Orwo 400
ScotchChrome 100 / Orwochrome RC 100
ScotchColor 100 / Orwocolor CNG 100
ScotchColor 200 / Orwocolor CNG 200
ScotchColor 400 / Orwocolor CNG 400

Tamas:

Welcome from Valencia, CA - 40 miles north of Downtown L.A., where I work.

I am transplanted New Yorker, and find SoCal is an AMAZINGLY picaresque place. I recently discovered Huntington Gardens in Pasadena, and Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge. Both quite amazing.

What are some of your favorite places to shoot in and around L.A.?
