Some of you postcard folks have sent out several very nice prints and I can't understand how you can produce that many cards.

On the same subject, I've started putting the postcards in an album. Have got all in, except Aggies "Farm Series"... Maybe I need another album :P

anyway: I've got to run now, I'm due at work in the North Sea in a few hours. Will bring a small folding camera, just in case...

Henning--Yes, I do the same, regarding new members. I just add them to the next round.

I'm getting reading for a new batch in the next few days or so. The weather has been too beautiful in New York, though, to spend it in the darkroom. Better to wait for the 98-degree F./90-percent humidity, when the outdoors are intolerable.

Gee Aggie can work 24/7 in the darkroom now! the postal people will have to get wheelbarrows to haul the output to the sorting plant LOL. Our posties in Canada are talking strike because they heard there was another Aggie project on the way.

Just kidding Aggie, you know that. I really enjoy all the cards I get.

On that note I just received Lee C's church picture today. Stunning!! On top of being a beautiful picture the luminosity is amazing. And all this without the aid of hockus pochus chemicals. Bravo Lee. I never thought you could get that kind of tonal range out of TMAX.

I finally went out to the darkroom today and found a very nice couple of prints from Les. A still life and the stairs photo. Both different but both very nice even if one is D******. He apologized.

Thanks, Eric. Yes, TMX is a nice film but fiddley as some in this crowd might say. Care must be taken when exposing it and when processing one must be careful with temp fluctuation. It took me a while to come to grips with it.

Firstly a word of thanks to the 10 people who have 'posted' to me already.

It is great to get to see some of the work other photographers are doing and to have them in the flesh as opposed to 'cyberprints'. The range of subjects, techniques, equipment and expression displayed is truely amazing and hopefully is broadening each of our horizons. Indeed, I have passed a few around the office just to hear others opinions.

I must say that I found selecting a print for submission quite daunting. The self doubt came flooding back, shots that I have been happy with for ages no longer cut the grade. The self re-evaluation was an uplifting and amazing experience and provided the basis for reworking at least 10 of my 'best' exposures.

Eventually I managed to narrow it down to 2 or 3 shots and run off a batch of the first one on Friday. They hit the SnailMail today. When you all receive it feel free to comment, good or bad.

Again thanks and keep 'em rolling in and I will start considering the next submission

PS Total time for printing, writing etc was around 4 hours. Well worth the time, effort and money

About time for me to do another batch soon as well.

I'm revamping an extra room at my girlfriend's house into a darkroom with running water! And I'm working on gettin a 6 foot darkroom sink, so I will print another batch as soon as it's up. I had to break down the one I had at my house. Hopefully 2 weeks or less.

Now if I could just get into the DR long enough to develop some film. I have 12 rolls of MF and tons of LF to do. Oh well when it starts to snow.
