The latest copy of "B&W Photography" landed on my doormat this morning and , I guess, it's also arrived in the homes of many other avid (UK) readers (I regret, readers elsewhere will have to wait a bit longer...).

Those of you who have got your copies will now know that Ailsa has announced that she's now leaving the magazine, after over six years as editor, to take another path.
I'd like to thank her for her contribution to the field of black and white photography. I'm sure many of you would agree that monochrome photography wouldn't be in the prominent position it is in now, if it weren't for her.

Good luck Ailsa and best wishes for the future.

Jerry

I concur Jerry, Ailsa did announce the news here a week or so ago. It will be interesting to see what changes are made by whoever takes over the editors role.

Well, it's always a worrying time when a new editor comes along with their new (or not so new) ideas, but hopefully they'll realise the strengths of the mag and play to them. Ailsa has done a really great job on the mag and certainly enough to convert me from an occasional buyer to a subscriber, so here's wishing her all the best for her future path!

Best of luck, Ailsa. And thank you for the vision that you have given me, personally, of my photography. You have helped in so many ways so many people that you may never know. We are in you debt. Thank you.
