It took twenty-three years to do a CLA? I'd find a new camera tech.

As we suddenly have some sunshine for a few days this week, I'm thinking of loading the last of my Kodachrome into an F4 and a T90 and heading up into the hills.

I gave in and bought a Kodak Duaflex, loaded it with some re-spooled Tmax 400 and did a little shooting in the overcast this weekend, it was a lot of fun! It felt strange posting a non TTV photo in the Duaflex group on Flicker. it's a camera, not an add on lens, go distort your pictures in photoshop and let someone that will load film into that camera have a go at it.

My RB67 that I've had for a few months has been unusable so far due to various issues. Last issue was malfunctioning and leaking backs, both of which returned a few days ago from overhaul, so the RB's getting a workout this week.

I've not been shooting for a couple of years in anything like I used to but right now I am home recuperatiing and have been thinking about maybe for the fist time in a couple of years taking some time to get fall foliage. I've pulled out, dusted off and putting together my Bronica ETRS with WLF and 120 and 35mm backs, Leica CL with 40 and 90mm lenses and a $5 thrift store Canon AF35M. Still need to think about film. Light meters are Metrastar and Weston Ranger 9. CHIS MR9s replace the mercury 625s used for the Western, Metrastar and Leica. Though the Canon is a totally automatic everything other than setting the ISO, I'm quite interested is seeing what it can do as the reviews were very good other than the noisy film advance that I can attest to. When I bought it, I did so on a whim not knowing anything about it and was surprised when I researched it.

In past years when doing the fall foliage I'd use my Polaroid 180 and 195s but sadly, no more pack film to be had around here so they are now shelf queens. When used on a tripod they were amazingly wonderful and I'll miss using them.

Just got a Balda Baldalux 6x9 (complete with original 6x4.5 mask) in the post. Going to put a couple of rolls of HP5 through it even if it rains all week.

I'll be using my Bronica SQ-A to shoot some portraits at a friend's cabin up in the mountains by Sundance. The fall colors are perfect and I'm actually hoping it rains a bit ;)

This week I am using my Olympus XA 35mm with Fuji Superia Xtra 400 and my Zeiss Ikon Nettar 518/16 with Ilford Hp+5 120 B&W film. Just send out today three rolls of 35mm film, taken at the zoo this weekend, to be developed.
