An Ansel Adams show (http://www.corcoran.org/index.asp) opened today at the Corcoran Gallery of Art. It runs through Jan. 27. Even if it were free I don't think I'd go see it, much though I love the Corcoran. $20.00 to see 125 Ansel Adams prints from the Lane Collection? Not gonna happen.
However, a few of the ancillary (or should that be "ansellarry") events surrounding this exhibition look quite interesting. Here's a list (http://www.corcoran.org/adams/Page4.html). The best thing looks to be the Ed Burtynsky talk in November. That I'll pay $20.00 for.
