Ian Dave Miller 09-20-2007, 06:14 AM That's good, they have a great range of products. SuzanneR 09-20-2007, 07:46 AM Good news! photo8x10 09-20-2007, 08:02 AM Very good news....!!!!!! David A. Goldfarb 09-20-2007, 08:03 AM Welcome, Mirko!
Before J&C made it easy to get East European films and papers in the U.S., I used to batch orders from Fotoimpex with a couple of other New York photographers to get these materials and save on shipping from Berlin. I highly recommend them. Bob Carnie 09-20-2007, 09:28 AM Welcom Mirko

Barry Sirius Glass 09-20-2007, 10:38 AM Great!
Steve jnanian 09-20-2007, 10:46 AM this is great news indeed,
thanks mirko!
john Jim Noel 09-20-2007, 11:46 AM I just looked at the site and see no indication of sheet films. Are these being produced? Also a list of retailers would be good. David A. Goldfarb 09-20-2007, 12:09 PM They are a retailer. If there's anything you need that you don't see on the site or can't find in the German catalogue, e-mail Mirko, and he can usually arrange it for you. Any of the East European films that J&C sold in any of those sizes can be obtained through Fotoimpex (except Forte, of course, since the plant is closed). Ian Grant 09-20-2007, 12:09 PM Jim, Fotoimpex are the retailers. The Adox site is still under construction Fotoimpex bought the name Adox and use it as their brand name for relabelled products.
See Fotoimpex (http://www.fotoimpex.de) for the full range of products they sell.
Ian Photo Engineer 09-20-2007, 12:28 PM Congratulations to both Sean and to Mirko. I think it is a great deal for both and for us as well.
PE Michel Hardy-Vallée 09-20-2007, 01:29 PM That's another good news; this week has been very positive so far with the announcements from Kodak and Ilford.
In North America, I presume Freestyle will be the major outlet for Adox products, given that they already stock some of their films and chemistry? papagene 09-21-2007, 09:23 PM Good news and thank you very much Mirko!!!

. sterioma 10-19-2007, 07:51 AM A bit late... very good news.
I fully agree with the positive comments for Fotoimpex. My experience with them so far has always been that of an excellent service! matti 10-19-2007, 08:24 AM Great! After a retailer bankruptcy in Sweden. Fotoimpex is my new main dealer. (Now if they could only get their webshop up it would be much easier to buy stuff from them. Sometimes convenience is more important than price...)
/matti michael9793 10-23-2007, 01:49 PM Thats the only film I use. and one of the only companies I can get
120,4x5,8x10,11x14, 8x20 all in the same film so there is no guess work. I'm happy to see them come on board. quality needs to support quality.
Mike Andersen jd callow 10-23-2007, 02:01 PM Excellent News. André E.C. 02-22-2008, 08:49 AM Fantastic news:), i've just received some developer and film yesterday via Berlin, excellent service and client support from Fotoimpex.
A great move both by Sean and Mirko, both parties will certainly get good benefits out of this partnership.
