One of the pictures really is different not because it shows her and a soldier at the front line, but their footwear. Did you notice their footwear? It looks like they are wearing a slip on type of very light shoe. I wonder if this is because of heat because of summer, or if they just didn't have decent footwear and these were made up on the spot. I wonder if there are any people on the forum of Spanish origin or nationality, who could possibly shed some light on this?
