Hi,

I just purchased a Beseler 45MXII. I do not have the manual for it and am wondering if anyone could give me some advice on aligning this enlarger. It seems to be out of alignment front to back. I think I see how one would adjust the lens stage left to right, but front to back has me stumped.

Thanks,
Paul

Ann,

Thanks. I saw this post. The scans would be helpful if only I could make out the text. The two clear photos show the adjustment bolts that move the whole assembly front to back and left to right. These would be fine for slight perspective controls, but as best I can make out, would do little for alignment purposes since they do not change the position of the lens relative to the plane of the negative. I had fooled with these on my enlarger optimistically and soon realized that they were not the cure to my woes.
