A note to who ever is booking the B&B. Put my room as far away from Fintan's as possible as I put him through enough last weekend. ;)

:D:D

man, give me a bottle of polysulfide toner anyday ;)

Hey Peter, you were admiring Les Mcleans 'Roughting Linn' and I think you will find something similar at Mahon Falls in the Comeragh Mountains. Get your wee sat nav out :D:D

The Mahon falls are lovely, but be aware that the road up to the falls is closer to a track towards the end. It's about a 30 minute drive from the N25 to the car park, if you are nervous about being on a narrow road with a drop to one side then it's not the place for you. There is then a walk from the car park to the actual falls. Weather also plays a major role in the experience, if there is any rain then the views can be obscured.

I was there last July on a rainy day and it was not worth getting out of car.

There is also a "fairy tree" about half up, where if you stop and let the handbrake off, the car appears to roll backward UP a hill.

Single for me too please. We went to mahon falls once as well. got to the top and there was no water!!! Don't think that would have been a problem this summer..

Wonder how Peter's persecution complex is doing?

That all depends on what and how much you have been drinking :)

I'll take a single, but if there aren't enough rooms at the B&B I don't mind sharing. Just let me know. I'm cool,

Cath

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 8700 series: BlackBerry8707/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/125)

Are we booking this individually or as a group?

We might get a deal if we book as a group.

Hi - I too would prefer a single room but am happy to pitch in, whatever the accommodation arrangements.

Having been to the Mahon Falls, I can confirm that it has a raincloud all of it's own.

Peter, the M7 may be like a miniature camera compared to your RZ, but glass is still heavy...

See you all,

Andrew

Rain? we are used to that on these trips. :(

The only glass I'm concerned with is the one that will be holding the black stuff on the Friday night. :D

Would that be digital black stuff now.. or are you coming back to the dark side? :p

We did okay in Glendalough, aside from the nasty little midges.

Good idea, will you check out that B&B you mentioned so and book us in if they have enough rooms?

Okay will do, just a final check that I have the list right, from what I can gather this is who is going:

David, Peter, Fintan, Andrew, Síle, Catherine, Mel

So a total of 7 rooms, or six rooms a shed for noxious Peter :D
