View Full Version : Hello umdah 11-09-2007, 04:01 PM Hi,
I am fron Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I wanted to have a change from Digital. I am
a digital nikon person. The weight required to be carried to persue my hobby
led me to the M8. From there the next step was the MP. So here I am
a 50+ persob trying to learn analog, because somehow I find it more
to my liking ( or perhaps trying things i could not afford in my youth ).
I am interested in bw film, and maybe later shall delve into developing
it. right now capturing an image is my priority.
What better way then to start my journey, then a trip to England
with my wife next week!
I have everything to learn ( and fast ), so please bear with my for my
novice questions.
Best regards. thebanana 11-09-2007, 04:07 PM Welcome from the Canadian prairies :) Whiteymorange 11-09-2007, 04:07 PM This is a great place for beginners, Umbah. Welcome aboard. There is a wealth of information here to assist you on your journey of discovery to the pleasures of analog photography.
Feel free to ask questions, no matter how simple you may think they are. We're a friendly bunch and we have opinions galore!
Enjoy your stay in England (although it will be dark and dreary there this time of year) and perhaps you can meet up with some of our many UK members, at least on-line and maybe in person. MattKing 11-10-2007, 12:47 AM Welcome, from the west (some would say wet) coast of Canada.
