View Full Version : Free copy of Black & White Photography Ailsa 04-02-2003, 03:40 AM Hi all
I'm extremely flattered by all the kind comments about Black & White Photography I've read on this forum - it's always good to know when you're doing something right!
There are probably plenty of you, however, who haven't seen a copy of the magazine, so if you'd like to discover what you've been missing out on, please just e-mail me your name and address, and I'll arrange for a copy to be despatched. Best of all, it's absolutely free of charge - no catch! Well, maybe just two small catches: one is that the offer has to be limited to the first 500 applicants, and the other is that we won't be able to supply the current issue, but one from the past six months. And yes, we'll even send overseas.
You can e-mail me at ailsam@thegmcgroup.com
Look forward to hearing from you!
Ailsa Thanks Ailsa! http://apug.org/forum/html/emoticons/smile.gif Eric Rose 04-02-2003, 11:33 AM Way cool Ailsa! Count me in. I'll email you my address. Aggie 04-02-2003, 12:25 PM .. Jorge 04-02-2003, 02:47 PM Great! not only I have not seen it, but I cannot get ot here in Mexico, so a sample would be great. I have heard many good things about the magazine and Les has been a great help and to our members and to this site. I thank you in behalf of APUG. clogz 04-02-2003, 04:26 PM I can only recommend B&W Photography magazine but I warn you all: it is rather addictive. good one Ailsa!
I have editions 1-18 (we're a bit slow getting them here in Oz) so I'll pass and let someone else have one (or send two editions to Jorge!) Aggie 04-02-2003, 09:31 PM .. Dave Mueller 04-02-2003, 09:35 PM Customer service at it's best! I've seen ONE issue, and then it seems to have disappeared from Norwegian shops. Pity, I'd like to see more...
My address is on the pstcard list - and there's a postcard on the way (at last)! SteveGangi 04-03-2003, 02:17 PM That's a really nice offer! I have read the magazine; it seems easier to get it, and other publications in the Los Angeles area for some reason. Ailsa 04-24-2003, 12:19 PM We still have free copies available for anyone who wants them! Don't be shy, just e-mail me your details... glbeas 04-24-2003, 07:37 PM I just recieved my copy this week Ailsa, Thanks! It looks very interesting though I haven't had time to sit down and read it thoroughly. I cannot remember if I said thanks or not but I received my issue a few weeks ago.
thank you very much,
lee carmichael Jorge 04-24-2003, 08:10 PM well poooh...I never got mine, I guess I should send Ailsa my address again. Jorge 05-13-2003, 01:40 PM well, the burro was having a great time in the british isle, but it finally made it here with a copy of the magazine. I was really impressed with the quality and the overall magazine. Seems the printing is excellent and to my great surprise very few "commercials."
Thank you very much Ailsa for the free issue, I congratulate you on a job very well done.
Les, you look thinner on your avatar than on the magazine picture......that darkroom move must have taken a toll....http://apug.org/forum/html/emoticons/tongue.gif Les McLean 05-13-2003, 02:33 PM </span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE (Jorge @ May 13 2003, 05:40 PM)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'>

Jorge,
I was playing in photoshop and distorted the image just for fun?. Perhaps it might have been vanity! |
