This is David from Pasadena, California. I enjoy travel photography and camera collecting. I am particularly interested in traditional color photography, slide film work (esp. Kodachrome), and night photography. I collect classic cameras and lenses, mostly Leica Thread Mount, but also SLR's and a few TLR's. I have an interest as well in film making and actually some professional experience with that from my youth.

Thanks "thebanana". Spent a lot of time in BC and Quebec, but not seen Manitoba. I can well imagine though like much of the rest of Canada it's staggeringly beautiful in the countryside.

Thanks for the nice international warm welcome -- I can see this site's going to be a lot of fun. Incidentally I've lived in Europe, Canada, and South America and spent an inordinate amount of time in Asia so I've had the good luck of seeing some of the countries represented here. Travel does indeed broaden the mind and the world would be a saner place if everyone did more of it!
