View Full Version : Hi all! Wilton, CA stillsilver 01-04-2008, 07:08 AM Hello, My name is Mike and Wilton is south of Sacramento, CA. We are a rual community, so I have access to barns, farming equiptment, and livestock. The perfect things for for a black and white photographer such as myself. I shoot VERY little color. What I enjoy is the tones and texture that can be coaxed out of a negative. Being in a wet darkroom is much more enjoyable than sitting in front of a monitor doing my work. Although the computer chair is much more comfortable than my cramped dr, I would rather spend 2 hours in the dr doing the same thing I could do in 1 hour with a keyboard. I look forward to making many friends on this world-wide site.

Snallan - When we buy a house I’ll be able to build a bigger dr in the garage.
23mjm - We were lucky. We only lost one tree and power for 7 hours.
Mike markbb 01-16-2008, 03:22 PM I had a look in my atlas but couldn't find a country called 'CA', Is this the local spelling? Wherever you are, welcome, and good luck with the black and white photography. stillsilver 01-19-2008, 09:41 AM I’m 20 miles south-east of Sacramento, California. Although seceding from the States and starting our own country seems like a good idea at times. Black Dog 01-19-2008, 03:17 PM Welcome to APUGland!:D |
