Hi

A couple of reasons behind this thread, but mainly prompted by the recent publication of his book "Celebrity" which got quite a bit of coverage (in the UK at least), including a decent piece in B&W Magazine. I just got the book this week and it is well worth a look if you get the chance.

Searching O'Neill on APUG got surprisingly few hits and several of those that came up were for Eugene O'Neill, rather than Terry. Some of his photos are here: http://www.chrisbeetles.com/pictures/artists/Oneill_Terry/Oneill_Terry.htm , while there is a bit of a bio here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_O%27Neill_%28photographer%29

He's alive and well and will be 80 this year, so a reasonable gap between him and the "young pretender" Bailey. Question is, do his photos of Sinatra and the movie stars give him a profile beyond a certain age group in the UK and if not, why not?

Thanks, Peter

Peter, I think you might have added 10 years on to his age;).
According to Wikipedia he was born in 1938.
