hi all
this is an up date on a previous thread about an APUG meeting/course here in the northern part of Denmark.

I finally have some dates, and Per Volquartz has agreed to join, as a part of another course he is holding at that time (also in Dk.)

I have made a page about this on my homepage, and I'd love to get some feed back on how this sounds? (the APUG course - not the home page..:p )

I truely hope to see some of you here.

(we have an old song here in Denmark. the first line is: "cigarettes, whiskey and naked girls".... Maybe that could be the head line for the course?? :D)

Is there a limit on how many people ?

Do you have a dead line for enrolment?

Sounds like a lot of fun and good time , I hope to do this , but would not know my status till later in the year.

where do you come from? I'd love to meet you.

well about the limit. Per is going to come with max 8, and I'll have my own students also at that time. but about 20 people (excluding my own students).

IF the course will be full soon ( or about to be full) I'll of course let everybody know, but if not, then the deadline is quite late...

Emil,

I used to spend summers in Latvia and Luthivania when growing up in Russia in the 70's , I can attest to the northern European soft elusive light quolaties, very much like what I have here in northern Maine , I came here by an accedent , but am staying here by choice...

September in Denmark is something of a dream right now , but I would try to make every effort to join you there...just to see your work upclose and maybe share some of my work , you do want people to brting their own work with them, don't you?

Would I be able to ship 8x10 film to you in advance and ship it back , so I would not be subject to an airport scaning?

September in Denmark can be a dream...

I hope you'll make it.

of course I want everybody to bring prints!
Lets make a huge exhibition! (we have the room for it!!)

you can ship the film in advance, but I could, by request order some my self.

(I am mostly using 18x24cm (FOMA) film, as they only cost a fraction of 8x10!)

Thanks for arranging this. I really want to attend, but I’m uncertain if I can and I won’t know until a very late date.

All best

I believe the english version was, "cigarettes and whiskey, and wild wild women". The second line had something to to with being driven insane.

Sounds like a fun course. I enjoyed the one Per put on in Vancouver very much.

Today I received my passport :)
Wish I could go,
but right now it's a no-go
But we never know
Life's full of surprises

I am one of Per's eight for sure :) ...we've been putting together a scenario and really appreciate Emil's offers and interest.
We just finished the Joshua Tree weekend (a bit early due to wind and storm) so will be updating with and through Emil asap.

Per will hopefully post some info to fill the other pre-Gandolfi itinerary soon.
Matt
