I'm looking for info on where on the net to find tide info. and also how to read it. The only sites I have found haven't listed most of the locations I am interested in, and might as well be written in greek.

Brian,
I don't know if this will help. I came across ---http://www.californiadelta.org/deltatides.htm

They have a chart for June of 2003 with the times of high and low tides. I would imagine that should be consistant for your locations out there.

If you have a Palm PDA, then there's a nice little program called TideTool. http://www.toolworks.com/bilofsky/tidetool.htm

For a Windows system wxtide32 works well.

On a Mac I use Mr. Tides.

I have both of these programs, and they agree with each other (more or less). Hope this helps
