I'm very tempted, can someone post a good location for some sea shots, a b&b, and a good guinness pub nearby and i'm good.....:D

If there aren't many coming Fluffy can stay with me (if she wants) and there's a b&b in the next village (~2miles away) that I can check for availability but I know they only have a couple of rooms. There are two REALLY good Guinness pubs about a two minute walk from my house (part of the criteria when buying the house...). There's a local taxi so you don't have to walk the two miles. Alternatively, the Guinness in Midleton is very good too if you know where to look and there are plenty of b&b's (and it's still easy for me to get a taxi home). There are beaches and seas galore up the road so we can go exploring again..although they are different from the Copper Coast. I'll talk to Fluff in the morning when we go pinholing. I can ring the local b&b tomorrow to see if they are booked up and try and line up a few in Midleton monday.

Hi Guys, sorry got a bit waylaid with work ...
Numbers for B&Bs starting with closest to Whitegate:
Teach na Coille 021 4652208 this is closest and we've had people stay there so think it's OK, can't vouch for the rest..
Arch B&B, Rock st Cloyne 021 4652414 next closest and reachable by taxi
Loughcarrig House, Ballinacurra, 021 4631952 about same distance as Cloyne (looks nice on website)
Coolbay House, Cloyne, 021 4652564
Oatencake Lodge, Midleton, 021 4631232 on main road into Midleton, easy to find, 10 minutre drive to whitegate (plenty of taxis in Midleton)

Will look up a few more for Midleton and post.

We can either hit Whitegate or Midleton...Guinness equally good in both locations

Hi Fluff, I got my local map out and checked out the local terrain. I know the spots closest to me but we could drive further up the coast and see what we stumble upon. I'll check what the tides are going to be like as well.

I'm really sorry to be missing this weekend, that's two in a row and in Cork, a part of the country I absolutely love.
Have a great time everyone and I look forward to seeing some of the weekends resultant pics in the exhibition in September ;)
