I received this anonymous email this morning. Apparently the author isn't man enough to attach their real name:

-The wheels came off of this event weeks ago and it is going down in flames
-People are being lied to.
-Most instructors and vendors have pulled out.
-Foto3 is now Foto1 (APUG & Calumet pulled out)

-Someone trying to look out for you, please keep this confidential.

This sort of thing takes the childish bickering to a completely new level. Bostick & Sullivan has been commited to the Foto3 conference from the beginning, and we have no intention of backing out due to a silly anonymous email.

The anonymous prankster doesn't realize that the vendors and participants have each made a large investment to participate. The cost of getting to the conference and setting up a tradeshow booth is between $2000 and $3000. Not to mention we're also putting on a pre-conference Alt-photo workshop, which takes plenty of preparation and planning.

If this prankster had his way, all of the vendors would be out several thousand dollars and have nothing to show for it. WAY TO GO! :rolleyes:

In the last week I have had people emailing me impersonating apuggers trying to get me to say bad things about foto3. I can't trust any email I get now that appears to be from a member. I have to crosscheck the email address to their registered forum address and if they are different send them a forum private message to ask if they emailed me. Welcome to the internet..
