The maximum number of entries for a poll is 10, so I've had to split the UK Autumn 2008 Meeting Venue between two separate polls (8 venues in each). Here are the rules:
Both Polls will run concurrently;
The poll will run for 21 days;
The three locations with the highest number of votes across both polls will be entered for a second round;
Please only vote in one of the polls.
If you want to vote for any of the venues below and not the above go here (http://www.apug.org/forums/forum137/49454-poll-2-uk-autumn-2008-meeting-venue.html)
Isle of Wight
Marlborough area
Oxford
Peak District
Pembroke
Salcombe
The West
Wales

Well, it's Anglesey for me as well. It's been absolute years since I've been to Wales :)

I am finding it a little bit strange to vote for just one location when there are so many options to choose from. :rolleyes:

That's because you are a woman. ;)
What do you want to do, race around them all in one weekend?:confused:

Hm, correct, I am a woman indeed :)... and I hate racing.
I would have thought that by choosing the 2 or 3 favorites, then a majority would have started to appear. Otherwise the risk is that there is such a disseminated vote that no obvious majority for one location sticks out.
Anyway... I just voted.

The idea is (in case you missed it) to finish this vote and then vote again on the top three or so. If it all goes wrong blaim Brian; on the otherhand if it works I shall claim the credit:)

I am also a screwup, Steve. I voted once in each poll too. It doesn't matter because the two locations I voted for are pretty close together :D

In the future contact a Mod as we can edit polls and by doing so add new items . So the original, mod made or not is limited to 10, but if I edit the poll (mod created or othrwise) I can add more items. It appears to be a bug/feature of the polling function and mod super powers.
