juan cory stickley 04-22-2008, 12:57 PM Dear Amy,
Ted was a kind man, generous with his knowledge, time and equipment. His enthusiasm for life and his passion for photography were so evident. Whether busy tending to details and photographing at a View Conference, responding to emails or organizing workshops in New Hampshire, he seemed to be able to find time to encourage a new photographer with whatever was needed-a few words of advice, a review of a portfolio, one on one time with equipment or an introduction to another member of the photographic community. Ted was always willing to give.
My sincere condolences to you and your family. Ted will be missed by the community.
Cory Bob Eskridge 04-22-2008, 12:58 PM Please accept my condolences. I always respected Ted's opinions and comments on all photography discussions. D. walter23 04-22-2008, 01:26 PM We never met, but he provided a lot of friendly and good advice on this forum and LFinfo. Great guy, and the response is testament to his involvement with this community of photographers. Ian Grant 04-22-2008, 01:35 PM Like others we never met, but all the contact I had with Ted was always always good humoured and appreciated. I wish I'd had a chance to meet him in person and not just talk online.
Best wishes Amy and the rest of the family, Ted was a real gent.
