Holy moly, I have received a flurry of responses to my "reminder" PM. Here's where it stands:

D. Wolf* - your print is in the works, your Secret Santa apologizes
Akki14 - no communication from your Secret Santa yet
astroclimb* - your print was sent June 23, did you get your print?
KWhitmore - no communication from your Secret Santa either
gphoto120 - no communication from your Secret Santa
mikeg - your Secret Santa made your print and will get it to you soon
vet173 - your Secret Santa made your print and will get it to you soon
CPorter* - did you get your print?
jgcull* - your Secret Santa swears he sent a print and I am "investigating his claim" ;)
jbannow* - did you get your print?

OK, we'll give this a couple more weeks to sort out, before I start naming names. Also, because I have extensive travels in a couple weeks, so I'll be an absentee organizer.

I received a beautiful print from Matti last week...thank you so much! I really love the warm tones and the deadwood looks so sharp it's amazing. Perfectly balanced and abstract...love it!

Art,
Sorry for coming back so late about getting your print. But I have been away sailing with not much of Internet communications. I must say that I really love it. It is so beautiful and the subject really comes out well in such a small format. Out of the dozen or something print exchange prints I have got so far, this is the one I like the best. For once my wife agrees with me. It will soon hit the wall.
Thank you!

Art,
Did you get your prints? You haven't mentioned if you received anything????

Many apologies to Birger A. I did receive his print but got lazy on my response to it due to my home improvement project this summer. I have simply not been on the internet for much of anything.

It is a very nice photograph taken at the National Folk Museum in Oslo. It's very much a subject matter that I would enjoy photographing myself.

Again, sorry for the late response Birger.

I have not gotten any prints yet, and I've finally been paid so mine go out tomorrow for both the blind and group exchanges.

No. But oversea shipping can take weeks. So I wait patiently. No rush.

Today I received, not 1 but *2*, prints from jbannow. Jeff, when I pulled out the print of the trees above the ferns, I said, "WOW... wow... WOW!". I really love that. Simple as it is, the way you showed that is just something I haven't thought of. Now I will. ;o) Pardon me for trying to copy your concept, but I really really like it. I like them both very much, and I like that paper too. I'll be checking out the prices at Freestyle on that fiber for myself.

Thanks so much!

So, I have received a treasure trove of prints from BWKate. I'm just in awe. Let's see ...

First one's a 'landscape, though there's a couple in it, taken on Lucky100 film bought in China and the scene is in China too. Really soft tones; just the right amount of warm too.
Then I have Stairs at Moon Hill, China. I really like this print. I like the dark tones and the composition. The print is gorgeous.
Now I like images like the next one - a couple shiny snail shells in a some kind of metal bowl or something. It's so well printed.
Talk about a sweet deal! Kate's got to be one of my favourite photographer's and printers. Her images and prints are amazing. Thanks Kate.

Regards, Art.

I received Vet173s print a long ways back, a beautiful 8x10 contact on Azo and toned with tea. I don't mind sending more prints out if they haven't been received yet.

Hi Justin/Art,

Sorry, no I never did receive Justin's print. Did you send it surface mail as that can take several months -- once, one print took 3 months.

Cheers

No worries Mike, I get paid tomorrow so can send another air-mail. I must have made a goof-up somewhere along the way since nobody in my group exchange has gotten a print of mine either, and I haven't received any of theirs!

Justin,
When you sent your print did you put a Customs Sticker on the outside of the package saying it had no commercial value? That happened to me when I sent a print to Italy and forgot to put a sticker on the outside. You have to have that notice for customs otherwise your print might be delayed in their office forever! I have sent prints all over the world and that one to Italy was the only one that never made it to its destination.

Art,

Thank you so much for your very generous comments on the photos you received! That makes my day especially after some rejection from a local art show that doesn't seem to like my black and white photos.
I think I'll concentrate on more world wide submissions from now on. They seem to like my stuff better than my local city.
I'm glad you like your prints, Art! Postcards are finally on their way!
