View Full Version : Blind Print Exchange Round 8 - Status and Updates gr82bart 04-26-2008, 11:14 PM Hi Folks,
Everyone should have the names and addresses of their recipients now via PM. Use this thread to post a message to tell folks that you sent your print (but don't reveal to who) and make a comment about the print you received.
Couple of reminders:
Send your print by the end of May.
If you can't send a print this round, forward the print your received instead.
If your recipient is in another country do NOT declare the print over $5-10 USD / EUR.

My prints are ready, adress is written, Monday I will send them to you.
It was a lot of work. I had a lot of fun and most of all satisfaction in doing something from start to the end entirely with my hands.
I hopy you enjoy! I hope I bring you good feelings :-)
kind regards, Dietmar Dietmar Wolf 05-19-2008, 05:13 AM Ahh. Sorry, Posted my post in the wrong forum. Blind print is not ready yet, the group prints are sent. jgcull 05-22-2008, 07:55 AM Mine is long sent. Didn't think to post that... hope you enjoy. AND I've received mine, which I like very much! Thank you - am I not supposed to say who the thanks goes to?
(I think I already did. Twice! In the wrong threads. Really I'm not always such a dingbat. Too many exchanges at once for me and I'll *never* do that again! Give me another chance, just doing one exchange. I promise, I'll do better next time.)
Janet BWKate 05-22-2008, 11:21 AM Spent a very productive day in the darkroom yesterday! I think I have something special for my recipient.
Just have to spot and package properly for mailing. Akki14 05-23-2008, 10:05 AM I've sent mine today! :D nsurit 05-23-2008, 10:35 AM Somebody has to bring up the rear. That will be me. I'm moving, however have the print and presentation stuff ready for completing this weekend. Bill Barber nsurit 05-27-2008, 02:20 PM Mine is winging its way across the big pond and I received a wonderful print from my person. Bill Barber BWKate 05-30-2008, 05:12 PM I received an amazing and beautifully printed image of Luxembourg Gardens and printed on Forte Polywarmtone paper! Exquisite doesn't begin to describe this print I received. A very happy thank you to Gary Mortensen. I would have Pm'd you but I don't know your APUG name!
This print just goes to show you that you don't always need a larger format to get a great image! He shot the image with a Konica Hexar AF and XP-2 film. Well done and I thank you again for such a fabulous print! Andrey Donchev 05-31-2008, 02:39 AM I sent my picture today and coincidentally, while in the post office, I received mine. It is absolutely stunning and would like to tank to the person who sent it to me very much!
This is my first print exchange. I know that I'm not yet very good in this, but I hope that mine recipient will be pleased as I am!
Sorry for the late finish. It proved to be quite more challenging then I thought initially.
Best to all!
A. KWhitmore 06-03-2008, 02:57 PM Mine is going to be a bit late. I just moved yesterday and all is in confusion...sorry!
Kathy Dietmar Wolf 06-03-2008, 03:15 PM I am late, too. I will print this weekend, and send Monday.
regards, Dietmar winger 06-04-2008, 03:45 PM I got 2 great street shot prints from No Digital last week. Thank you! And I sent mine out yesterday (sorry it's so late). I got a beautifully printed image from Winger yesterday. She gave me some great background information along with the textural image of an old, beautiful example of architecture. This was the first print I have ever recieved and it was so exciting! Thank you!
Cara BirgerA 06-13-2008, 04:44 PM I received a fascinating cyanotype from Bill Barber (nsurit) yesterday. Now I think I have to find a wall for it.
Thanks.
Birger A. nsurit 06-13-2008, 11:17 PM Thank you and you are too kind. It was a learning experience for me and an interesting presentation that I picked up from a friend. Bill Barber CPorter 06-14-2008, 02:13 PM I mailed my print today and my apologies for getting it out late. It should arrive in 5 to 10 days.
