I went out to the nearby cemetary this afternoon. While I was there a thunder storm rolled past nearby and when it started to rain I wasn't sure whether to shelter under one of the trees or stand in the open with a metal tripod and umberella . There was further excitement when I went to leave as I assisted in apprehending a (alleged) purse snatching scumbag. So, even if the photos don't come out it was a memorable afternoon. Will be developing them tomorrow night and will post anything printable in the gallery.

I shot 2 rolls of HP5 in 6X9 format in a Zero Image 2000. They will get souped tomorrow. It was a good day. Bill Barber

I shot a roll of Portra 160 NC and a roll of Acros 100 in a series of views around a nearby rail station and tracks. The camera was my SQ-Hole, Rev 2.1 visible at the link with the results. The weather was too dismal to waste the petrol to go off on a major trek. This is now three of the last four WPPD events that were drippy or threatening weather 'round these parts.

Scanned negs from the Acros are here (http://www.pbase.com/dw_thomas/wppd2008); I shall hopefully submit the Portra for processing tomorrow -- have never shot 120 color negative film, so don't know what I'll run into (or get back). I shot exposures in pairs about a stop apart in hopes of getting something. The Acros was fairly successful, either of the pairs look like they would print OK, so I have hope for the color shots.

More Real Soon Now(tm).

I pulled out my PinHolga yesterday and finished a roll.
It was the first WPHPD in a few years that I had good light to shoot in.
